Who we are

Ancient Bees is a trading name of Kazi Fazle Ealahy, Dhaka, Bangladesh. If you have a question about your data, email hello@ancientbees.studio.

What we collect

• If we contact you about our services: your name, your role, your studio’s name and your business contact details, taken from your studio’s website or other public business sources.
• If you contact us or book a call: your name, email address, studio details and anything you write to us. Bookings are handled by Calendly, under its own privacy policy.
• If we work together: the brief and project material you send, such as a Figma link, a list of pages or notes from a call, and the details we need to invoice you.

Why we use it

• To contact UK studios that may need our service. We rely on our legitimate interest in offering a relevant business service. You can ask us to stop at any time, and we will.
• To reply to you, quote, deliver the work and invoice you. This is needed for our contract with you.
• To keep financial records, as the law requires.

Who else handles it

• Our email provider and Calendly, to carry messages and bookings.
• AI drafting tools, currently Anthropic’s Claude, to draft copy from your brief. We send only what the work needs.
• Payoneer and our bank, to receive payments.
• Our website host. This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics.

We never sell your data, and we never name your clients in our own marketing.

Where it goes

We work from Bangladesh, and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. We use established providers and share only what the work needs.

How long we keep it

• Outreach records: until you ask us to stop, or 12 months after our last contact with you.
• Project material: for the length of the job and 12 months after the final invoice, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
• Invoices and payment records: for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email hello@ancientbees.studio.

If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
